Section 96
Liability of inspector or employee

(1) According to section 95, the responsibility of the inspector or employee assigned to inspect the establishment or workplace shall be as follows:-
(a) To enter the establishment or workplace only by showing his identity card,
(b) on taking into custody any register, document or record or goods, to give a written return of the said understanding,
(c) If the complainant requests that his identity be kept confidential, his identity shall be kept confidential,
(d) To carry out his official duties without disturbing the work of the establishment or workplace, and
(e) To keep the information or information or data obtained during the inspection confidential except in cases where it is required to be disclosed according to the law.
(2) If the inspector or employee assigned to inspect the establishment or workplace does not comply with the duties as per sub-section (1), if he does any act that is indecent or contrary to official duty, or if he does any act that is malicious and causes damage, the relevant person shall report the same to the authority through the office.< br> (3) According to sub-section (2), if the inspector or employee is found guilty during the necessary investigation, the authority may impose departmental punishment according to the prevailing law.
